Sisman's first novel, Special Relationship (Michael Joseph,1995)
sold worldwide and launched her onto the best seller lists, where
she returned with Perfect Strangers and most recently Just
Friends. She has a reputation for witty romantic comedy with strongly
individual characters, overturning the assumption that "romance
= slush"! Robyn will talk about her writing, and has this to
say to any aspiring novelist: "Of course it helps to know good agents and editors, but I firmly believe that anyone who writes well and is persistent and professional will get published." |
